Doug found this jewel this morning...
He brought it out saying, "Owen, this is what you're going to look like when you get a little bit older and when we start curling your hair." (Apparently, Doug thinks Owen and I look alike.)
Owen's response was, "No way. I am NOT going to look like that. That is a girl."
And of course, Sophie just cackled at the breakfast table.
I remember taking this picture, I think it was 6th grade. I loved those gold earrings because it looked like I had 3 holes instead of just one. I also remember loving this shirt and I think I wore it with black stirrup pants and yellow socks. Oh, was I stylin'. And then there's the hair. What do you say about a really curly fem-mullet?? It was the 80's, baby!

As one who has a picture in the almost exact same outfit, I feel your pain. However, I think I wanted the same outfit as you because well.....I ALWAYS wanted the same outfit as you. Thank you for being my style icon. As for the hair. Sorry.
