They are two family favorites right now. Ok, Penelope may not be a the top of Owen's list, but Sophie and I LOVE it. IT's sweet and adorable and Catherine O'Hara is hilarious.
But, Mr. Bean has captured even Owen's heart. We've watched it probably 10 times this summer and reference some funny bit or quote 10x a day. So funny. It has very little dialogue, though, so it won't captivate the super young. But if your kids are my kids' ages and you haven't seen it, go rent it! Both movies are funny, feel good movies with a ton of heart. Can't beat that.

4 month report
See you soon!!
Monday, July 21, 2008
happy monday, everyone.
I still feel like we're on vacation but, alas, we are back home now. Doug is working on the kitchen and the kids and i have been hanging low because little miss soph is a bit under the weather. Sore throat, headache...you know how it goes. Summer is random time to get sick but it seems to be going around.
I'm totally out of blog fodder (as if no one could tell) but here are some cute pics.

Still in AZ
Oh, we're still here and having a great time. We should be back just in time to pick up Doug from the airport and then we'll all be together again for about 5 days before he goes to his family reunion in Texas.
I'm planning to see Mamma Mia this weekend if any of you girls are interested. I think I'll be ready for a moment away from my lovely little ninos after this parenting marathon and Doug will need a major parenting SPRINT before he takes off again. So, Movies? Spa Day? Shopping? I'm making plans...wahoo!
This morning Owen's cousin Charlie asked him who he is named after. His response was so good.
My middle name, Adams, is after Adam Tait and we know lots of Owens. Our last name is after a famous basketball player, i think.
Hey Owen, i interject. Your middle name is after Grandpa Adams, right?
No, not Grandpa Adams...GrandMA Adams!
Funny Boy.
The Girls ready for the Pool!
Half of our AZ cousins
The other half of the AZ cousins
My sickeningly adorable pregnant sister, Kelly

The LA Way
It's no secret that I spend a little time each day surfing friend blogs and design sites. Sometimes you find one too good not to pass along. Today, it's for my fellow Angelenas. Lasangelenas.blogspot.com is about fashion, food and shopping in LA. She's got a ton of fun, new restaurant ideas all over her blog. In fact, I want to hit the first one, Osteria La Buca sometime soon. Any one up for a girls' night??
And lastly, sad to report I have not found my camera charger ANYWHERE. (of course, the battery is dead.) We're still unpacking, albeit very, very slowly, because Doug is still out of town, but i seriously don't know where it is so i have no new pics to post! We're doing great in our new little place, though.
